LCP Down problems.

Hi,

I am on the 8meg max at the moment and just yesterday started getting this problem after nothing like this over the last few months, occasional drop outs through the night at most. Yesterday and today the problem started at roughly the same time around 6pm, during the day it has been fine with no drop outs at all.

Sry forgot to mention its a Netgear DG834G adsl router with latest firmware.

Have you tried connecting your ADSL router to the test socket at the back of the master socket using a new filter?

I don't have a master socket in this house to test i'm afraid.
Tried changing filters but with no luck, still doesn't explain why its fine all
day then from around 6pm onwards it struggles...

I also experienced this problem a couple of months ago using the same router as you.

Eventually resolved the problem by leaving it unplugged from the phone socket overnight. Not had the problem again since.

It could be that something is causing interference on your line in the evening.
