Rain / Thunder Storms cutting connection?

Just got in ahead of the thunder that's starting here in S.Wales.

My net has D/C at least 10 times in the last few minutes since the rain has kicked in, although I've just got home myself so I dunno if it's been like it all day.

Is it the weather? If not, any ideas?

EDIT : Gone again while writing the post. Pressed Submit Post and the connect box came back up.

It's quite likely to be the thunderstorm that's caused it. If there's thunder nearby, it's worth disconnecting your ADSL router from the phone socket and the mains.
