Hi Folks
Just joined the adsl24 forum, as I am considering migrating over to here from plusnet
I am concerned about the contact phone number as I see it is a mobile number. I wonder if there a geographical telephone number that is available to contact
adsl24, or is it only possible to contact the company using the 0800 number between 4-7pm, in-order to speak with someone
Would appreciate any feedback on the matter
Thanks
Simon

Hi Simon,
Welcome to the forum :D
Bear in mind, that you can always just text James on the mobile number and ask him to ring you back asap, if you're worried about the cost of the call. I only know because I had the exact same concern before I migrated last week, and asked him the same question :D
FWIW Simon, I HIGHLY recommend you choose ADSL24 (and nope, I don't work for, or get paid by, anyone here!).
Cheers,
Lee
We are currently not in a position to get a fixed landline (not going to go into all that - *cough* BT *cough*) but as Lee says if you are concerned and need any assistance just give us a text or e-mail or call-back request on our site and we'll call you :)
Most people prefer a mobile too as they can use their inclusive minutes on mobile packages where as to call 0800 numbers from a mobile is not free. So for some it actually works out better, plus we have the freephone from 4-7 for the people who work normal hours and prefer to call us when they get home.
The main advantage no matter what number we are available on is the fact that
a) You get straight through, with no call centres and menu systems
b) We are English
c) We know what we're talking about
d) We have no script, and deal with each call as required for that circumstance
etc etc. So in the time it takes you to call a 50p/min helpdesk with Tiscali for example, we will have already answered your query and you will be a happy customer with a smaller phone bill :)
This is being looked at and a fixed landline will be available in the not too distant future if all goes well :)
