I soon will be part of the ADSL24 family, on the 20th this month, can't wait!

I'll be glad to not receive numerous emails saying this: We monitor peak hour high usage on a weekly basis. Over the last week, your downloads and uploads have totalled 1.35 GB, which exceeds our peak hour usage thresholds:
ToucanSurf 512Kb and 1Mb: 0.75 GB
ToucanSurf 2Mb: 1GB
Peak hours are 6pm-11pm, Monday-Sunday (including Christmas and Bank Holidays).

So bye bye to Toucan, hello to ADSL24!
I'll be on Max Home 30 as that was the most useful package for me. ;)

For real??

Yep I am not kidding, that's why I can't wait to come to ADSL24!
If there's anyway to bring my activation date forward then I'll have it sooner rather than having to wait until the 20th, LOL:D

Thanks to you all who have welcomed me so far...it's nice to be part of something good!:)

Can't wait to see how my connection is going to be when it's live...
But if anyone can give me a clue on how fast it's going to be, here are my stats:

2.9 Mbps

Based on the values you entered, we estimate that your line can support a maximum of 2.9 Mbps

my snr and attenuation changed when i moved to max so hopefully yours will improve

regards

That's a very long line so don't expect too much. A 2Mb connection i'd say will be stable :)

Hello.

I have a long line.

Don't get great speeds but that's not the fault of this ISP.
At least I don't have to worry about "oh I've used up 4Gb peak I bettter not use the internet as the provider won't like it".

I never said that it would be the isp's fault if the line is long, mine's about 3.3Km full length, not as the crow flies.

Mine is probably about 7-8km in actual cable length.

I was referring to my old ISP's strict limits about downloading.

Sorry, but yeah that's why I am moving away from Toucan, too.:)
