Hi.

I'm in the middle of my training period and I'm interested to see if this behavior is normal.

Currently a BT speedtest give the following:

Your DSL connection rate: 7616 kbps(DOWN-STREAM), 448 kbps(UP-STREAM)
IP profile for your line is - 3500 kbps
Actual IP throughput achieved during the test was - 3077 kbps

My Max reports are thus:

Current IP profile as of 16/09/2008 17:34
3500 kbps

See the only go up to the 16th and today is the 19th (line was initiated on the 15th)
Line stats are as follows:

Noise Margin

9 dB (upstream)

25 dB(downstream)

Attenuation

27 dB(upstream)

--- dB(downstream)

I live 562meters as the crow files from the exchange.

Is this speed normal and fixed, or will my IP profile increase over time (and bring the speed up with it?)
