View Full Version : Just placed a migration request.
Hello all.
I have finally placed an order with ADSL24. I have wanted to move from Freedom2Surf for ages now. Since they were bought by pipex at the end of last year there speeds plummeted.
I am hoping ADSL24 are going to be good. I have been reading the forum for the last two days and everyone seems to be happy with them.

Its all good here m8, welcome:)
Thats funny, Ive just requested my MAC from F2S and ill be submiting migration tonight. F2S were my first 8mb supplier so hoeply this supplier will have a big difference. Ive only just thought of moving because F2S have introduced a new method of throttling and this has draged my sync down to 6mb from 8mb.
I was a loyal pipex customer for 5 years and then they just went to the wall dont know if it was the hoffs singing or what!!! i then made the mistake of jumping out of the pan and into the fire by joining tiscalii i was with them 2 months before i had to force early contract release from the reviews ive read around the web and the little time i have been here u will be joining one of the best providers available !!!!
A big welcome to all of you. ADSL24 rocks! :)

This would have no effect on SYNC speeds as sync speeds are the same with ISP. They are the speed at which your router connects to the exchange at :)

Well whateva they have done the quality has gone.
Well since requesting my MAC my speeds have been really fast. ie i sync at 8128 and my speed tests have been at 7meg a second when connected to my router via ethernet and 5meg connected via wireless.
Anyway i a still moving, its too late for them. Only 7 days to go. :)
