Hello

I have just joined the adsl24 family and so far its been great i just have one query regarding email is there any way
1: setting up to send a copy of all emails that i recive to my main email address to another email address before downloading and setting up rule in outlook

And

2: is it possible to have any more email addresses with my main email format i would like them to all be user@adsl24.co.uk not user@myname.adsl24.co.uk

Thanks :)

Unfortunately not, as all accounts are a subdomain of the adsl24.co.uk one. Therefore, to offer customers unlimited unique e-mail addresses, it has to be you@user.adsl24.co.uk

Thanks

James you told me this in a PM

"Currently all e-mail addresses follow the you@username.adsl24.co.uk but we are looking in to other options"

So what are these other options you speak of

Could we have the option to have a limited number of email addresses (5 would be plenty for me) and have these as you@adsl24.co.uk

you@username.adsl24.co.uk is just to clumsy IMO and I definitely wouldn't use it on a business card etc. Currently the only use I have made of these emails is with ebay, where a hotmail account cant be used

The other options will possibly be another server with the ability to have user@domain.com and not name@user.domain.com but we have more inportant things lined up at the moment :)

I agree but then the email service we provide is just a free one so shouldn't be used on any business related purpose. There are companies out there who do dedicated e-mail hosting for such needs :)

Im not using mine currently or for the foreseeable future for anything business related, but I took it for granted when signing up to the office package that I would be able to.

You can, but as with any ISP the e-mail service is supposed to be as a bonus and not relied upon and we don't charge any extra to provide the e-mail accounts/webspace to you.

It may be an option for you to buy your own domain "whatever.com" - as we can host/attach this to your adsl24 email/webspace! That means you could then have "you@yoursite.com" and thus overcome the problem. We don't charge for this.

Now thats an idea :D, I never realised a domain could be bought so cheaply. Would UKReg's £2.95 per year be suitable
