No Internet Last Night (Again)

Saturday 23:20 - Total Disconnection Starts
All night there is no Internet connection!
This morning Sunday 28th 08:30 it comes back on.
9Hours :o

While off cannot ping the servers

Will start a ticket now - I hope this doesn't happen for a third time tonight :s

This is not a problem with my PC, have two and two different routers, connection to the router is fine, as you can see above. The router can not negotiate a connection with the ADSL24 server though.

Anyone else been disconnected the past two nights?
Friday night 22:00 onwards
Saturday night 23:20 -to- Sunday 08:30

i lost my line Friday night around 10ish , it wasnt back the next day so called support who did a line test that came back inconclusive so was handed over to BT

about an hour or so later i was back up and running

kinda odd cos my router wasnt showing a sync light but the stats page said i was connected though nothing was getting through , tried 2 pcs and a laptop and 2 routers

I suffered 2 major disconnections on Thursday and Friday/Saturday. The last on Friday/Sat took half an hour before it could reconnect. Speeds now down from 6.5MB to 0.45MB and not improving.

Not sure if this was a local exchange problem or Entanet but not very happy. Raised a ticket yesterday morning.

I didn't realize the help line was 24 hours a day, local rate!
Just assumed as it was at the weekend and at night I would be stuck...:$

Anyway have the number now, so will phone them straight away if the problem reappears tonight

Service has been quite flaky in recent weeks :(

Seems to be a common problem with adsl24 @ the moment peeps losing their connection,no tinternet,profiles going up the sodding wall......... com'on adsl24 let us in on the little secret that enta have kindly not told us ..... ID love to know

I second your comment - come on ADSL24 - what is the problem please.

I thought that it was just me now having read this forum I realise it is not. Same problems as others, disconnections over the last week or so.

One night I felt I was back with my old dial up - it took that long to load pages, prior to 10pm. (no downloads either).

Simple question - What is happening please?

Otherwise very happy with ADSL24

There was a major incident on Friday evening which was causing a lot of packet loss at Entanet's equipment at Telehouse East (see http://noc.enta.net/?p=327). I know that Enta said that this was resolved on Friday evening, but it would take a lot longer than this for the network to stabilize and "settle down". Did you check the BT Exchange outages list at http://adsl24.co.uk/bt_status.php ? There seemed to have been a lot of outages over the weekend.....

Not that I am gloating - but my connection has been rock solid for months :)
