Hi everyone...

Can anyone recommend a good backup utility for WinXP? What I'm ideally after is something that can take a complete image of my internal hard drives (including apps, O/S, config settings, etc. as well as the usual user docs. This would mean I could boot from the backup device (external hard drive) to completely restore the computer in the event of primary disk failure.

After the initial backup, I'd also like the ability to schedule incremental backups (i.e. write only thise files that have changed since the last backup).

Any ideas?

thx.

:D

Recommend Acronis True Image it will do incremental and if the image is not to big you are able to burn to dvd and make it bootable
a nice touch is the image iso can be opened just like a drive

I use Memeo to constantly back my chosen files onto my external hard drive

Whilst not what you asked for I use iFolder (http://www.ifolder.com) to keep 2 permanent, real-time backups of my important data.
