Today I was due to be upgraded to BT's new magical network, however, the update went VERY wrong, yesterday my internet died; rung ADSL24 who put me through to Enta and was told I'd been switched to the new circuit a day early. Fair enough.

Today my internet still wasn't working so rung Enta after some confusion about my phone number, we eventually got somewhere; turns out the upgrade went completely wrong and I now have to be rolled back to 20cn [he said something about BT making a 'screw up']. In the words of the Enta engineer this was a "complete and utter grade A cock up".

This is going to take 5 working days to roll-back; so I will be without internet until at least next Friday! Luckily my neighbour is letting me borrow his computer.

He said to phone back on Monday [first thing] to speak to Enta or ADSL24 to arrange a rebate to accommodate for the issue and lack of service.

I don't blame ADSL24 or Enta because the support I received was exemplary and i cannot find fault with it; but something, somewhere, went very very wrong, [probably with BT!], and now I'm internet-less.

Just wanted to share my experience with the 'upgrade' to 21cn.
