When I first joined Adsl24 I was syncing at around 4500 and now I am syncing at 3600 today but my connection keeps dropping when connected at around the 3600 mark (its dropped 3 times in 24 hrs).

I have rewired the extension and fitted an Adsl plate and still have probs

Stats at the moment are

Up Down SNR Loop att
G.DMT SHOWTIME 832000 3680000 15 46

tried connecting to bt speedtester (surprise it dont work) so I ran a speed test at thinkbroadband

http://www.thinkbroadband.com/speedtest/results/id/12239088458708565500.html.

lMax reports hasn't updated since this entry

21/09/2008 18:19Max Premium 2848 2500 Off.

And with all the disconnections my SNR is firmly stuck on 15 -16

not sure what else I can do

Router is a Draytek 2820N

just have to sit it out.... the SNR will rise until the line becomes stable, then after a while of no disconnects, the SNR will start to drop again and your sync will go back up.

It could be caused by a line fault somewhere, but i think it needs to become a lot worse before BT will investigate a possible line fault. sometimes tho, these problems sort themselves out.

as for the BT speed test, it does not work with Firefox or or opera, its a IE only thing...
