Hi all
Just changed over from Zen to ADSL24 all seems good.
Just wanted to say thank you to James for calling me on a bankholiday monday you didnt have to call me you could have just replied to my email on tuesday feel bad making you work on a BH.
Also am i right in thinking the ISP has little to do with my connection speed etc unless they are doing it on purpose ie traffic shapping or they are over selling there Bandwidth to too many customers ( like E7 did ) so i dont expect much difference in latency and Speeds, is that about right ?
I checked with abit of BF2 and found pings have been the same on ADSL24/ Zen & Nildram & nildram are supposed to host jolt gaming server's for a better ping but it dosn't seem noticeable on there or any other server. would have stayed with nildram if they hadnt started teaffic happing, Zen are over priced for my needs ADSL24 seems perfect i would have gone with sky BB if it actually worked as i have sky but am not willing to go to another S**t ISP like bulldog* the worst ISP ever as sky seems to be.
But ADSL24 from what i see in the forums etc, does seem to stand out as a Decent ISP among floods of money grabbing paranas both in the staff employed and the service from them and the technical faults that occur for users so heres hopping that every thing stays like this.
* bulldog did things like never answer the phone keep you waiting for over an hour lie to yuo rude customer service, it goes on they wouldnt give me my Mac address over a few weeks of trying to contact them and being lied toi eventually got hold of the PA for the financial director if i remeber right and that was the only way to get my mac, then after being away from them for 4 months they took over £300 pounds out of my account, then they wouldnt talk to me as they said i wasnt the account holder, how they can take money from me but then not speak to me about gets me, but not only that i was supposed to be the account holder 6 times over the 8 months or so i was with them we had the account put in my name as it was in my mothers originally every time they said they did it and every time i called they said i had neverasked for the account to be put in my name such a bunch of useless .... so thats the cut down version theres loads more the most rediculous experience evern with any company and i delt with alot of bad companies heck work for one :P but bulldog absolute sin.
