Hi,

I'm considering migrating three ADSL Max connections to ADSL24 from Eclipse :o

From what I've read, the performance on the lines will be fine. I just need some info reagrding domain hosting:

Does ADSL24 host .com domain names?
Can you relay email for our domain via SMTP to our Exchange server? (or put an MX record in DNS to point to our server)
Can you re-direct the webpage to another provider's server via a DNS entry? (e.g www.domain.com pointing to 212.161.37.x rather than the ADSL webspace)

Just a mini rant about Eclipse... I've been with them for about 4 years now.. The first year was fine, but since then they've been useless. They shouldn't have bothered with ADSL Max.. Although I sync at 7.5 megs, I can only utilise maybe 3 or 4 megs of it on a good day, as their network is so congested!

Thanks,
Robin.

If you have your own domain name, yes, we will host it for free and point it to your webspace/e-mail with us.
Yes, we can manage the full DNS for your domain and point any records where you need them to be.
Yes, we can redirect your hosted domain to any IP or hostname, either in the way on an A record or a normal redirect.

Thanks

James

Thanks for the quick reply. :)

I place orders for the migrations over the next couple of weeks. Once the ADSL is migrated then we'll do the domain.

Cheers,
Robin.
