error log

Hi

I have been experimenting with setting up pages on my site and looking at the hosting control panel information for the website.

I can see the error log which shows various errors for files which were requested but didn't exist. I have fixed these for my site but was wondering how long it takes before the error log clears out or can I manually clear it?

The error log simply accumulates day by day. I can't remember the exact timescale, but it does reset itself quite often. It makes no difference over your site though as it's merely a log for diagnosing problems - which you have done :) So no real need to worry about it still showing the old entries...

thanks James - It's not a big problem - just would be nice if I could manually clear it, but it's ok as not really an issue - I'll just wait and check to see how long it takes before they clear themselves.
