when I first joined ADSL24 I was able to get a pretty rock-steady 6-7 Mbps download speed except for the busy couple of hours when off-peak starts. DL speed was usually consistent with what was shown on the Central status checker; if it said my central was doing 5Mbps then I'd usually get that.
Recently, however, no matter what central, what time of day and whatever the central checker says, I can never get over 3.7-3.9 Mbps under any circumstances.

The top two lines are indicative of what I got before, the later ones are what I get now. Downloads from other places are the same. When hitting Rapidshare with Downthemall I would hit 6-7Mbps easily but never go over 3.5Mbps now.
I've reset the router, checked all of my settings and nothing's different here. My BT profile is 7150 and my router syncs at 8192 every time.
Looking at those figures it seems as if I'm somehow limited to 4Mbps regardless of my profile.
I'd raise this as a ticket if the system wasn't closed over xmas for upgrades so I thought I'd ask here if anyone else is experiencing anything similar.
