You need to turn SMTP authentication on when using mail.antfeay.adsl24.co.uk
What client are you using?
James
using bog standard outlook express

Server: 'mail.tiscali.cz', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25,
That is the outgoing server. Tiscali will only relay mail from one of their IP addresses which you no longer have.
You need to change your outgoing server to mail.antfeay.adsl24.co.uk and enable authentication. Your username/password need to be set to your ADSL24 account details as per the activation email.
i can send emails from work and we are on bulldog
the tiscali incoming mail server is mail.tiscali.cz
if i set my outgoing to mail.antfeay.adsl42.co.uk will that work?
is the problem that it will not work on adsl24???
it may have been a authentication error yesterday, ill check when i get home, fingers crossed! :)

the tiscali incoming mail server is mail.tiscali.cz
It may well be but the error you posted is an outgoing error and that is what I meant. SMTP is used for sending messages
Yes if you have incoming as mail.tiscali.cz and outgoing as mail.antfeay.adsl24.co.uk with authentication set to your ADSL24 user/pass then it should work
ok, ill give it a go tonight, i really dont want to loose that email address its unique you see being from the czech republic and that!
fingers crossed :)
seems to be ok now thanks for the help
