Is there a problem with the incoming mail servers?

Hi

I am able to login to my webmail and send an email to my hotmail account and it is received ok.

If I send a test email from my hotmail to my adsl24 account at the moment I still cannot see it.

Just to make sure it was not a hotmail issue I sent another test email to another email account e.g. googlemail and it worked.

So is there an issue with incoming mail?

the test emails have just arrived maybe there was a slight delay for some reason.

Just worked out what the issue is:-

If you use the adsl24 webmail and only enter in the username part and the pwd then nothing is in the inbox.:eek:

But...

If you use it and enter the full email address for the username and the pwd then the emails show up.

Is this meant to occur like this??:confused: :confused:

Thats because the default e-mail address is not just the "username" on its own. That "username" is not a real mail account. Your username for your e-mail address is the full e-mail address.
