You could well be right, especially after reading all the recent comments about ADSL24 on the DSL Zone ISP ratings (http://www.dslzoneuk.net/isp_ratings.php). :(

Another whopping 83KB/s here today, wonderful. Great bit of planning and implementation. :(

Terrible, terrible service now. If things don't change for the better I will go to another provider.
I moved to ADSL24 because Tiscali was terrible, but to be honest the service that I had this morning is just as bad. I depend upon a fast, reliable connection as I work from home, I cannot put up with speeds as low as this. It is taking ages to download documents etc.

Normally get d/l speeds of 4000 to 5000 kbps, currently 260kbps.
what's going on?
This new setup is absolutely shit.
I'm downloading at wooping 75kb/s.. At a usual 350kb/s or so usually.. I'm really considering of moving ISP..

Just requested my mac code. Fed up waiting for things to improve. It's a shame James and Co haven't got a new supplier lined up :(
Same here...absolutely shite...birmingham node is 98.9 and manc is 101.6:D:D...enta are shite.
Five of the ten IPSC pipes are now red, which isn't a good sign; the Centrals were fine (half-empty!) last time that graph was updated - but that was over three hours ago: noc.enta.net's Central monitor seems to be stuck! Probably an innocent accident somewhere, but my inner sceptic would suggest it's a plot to stop the IPSC victims getting angrier at the contrast...

Think Entanet/ADSL24 are going to need a few meetings.

I'm willing to give it over next week just in case it is a "blip" after that I will request mine.
Another unhappy customer here. I'll give it a week but downloading from a news server at less than 45K is not worth £30pm.
Seems like ADSL24 have been screwed by Enta

MAC requested, I'm going to try and hold off from using it for as long as possible due to my respect for ADSL24 dudes who rock, but enta.net are not impressing one bit.
O2 access looks good but 12 months contract? we've seen 1st hand how things can go down the toilet overnight....
Oh well, at least I'll have my MAC ready to use should I be tempted by another ISP who doesn't use enta/IPSC.

Yep. Im sure if 02 LLU me they will let me switch onto LLU. As for enta, they take the michael with their passive thinking. By now their blog would of been updated but there scared and are cowarding in their offices.
you said it was a good service !!!
While it lasted, yeah..

Same here..
O2 does look appealing........ I'm on a BT exchange which has O2's LLU service available. I'm also an O2 mobile 'phone monthly contract customer, so I'd get the discount price if I switched ISP to O2.
At that price, even if things went bad after, say 6 months, it wouldn't cost too much to bail out of the contract early. In fact, a 12 month contract with O2 would only cost me what 6 months does here. I'd only need to stick it out with O2 for 6 months to break even. O2 had just launched its service when I looked at moving from Pipex. I didn't take up O2's offer then because it was a relatively untried ISP. But it seems to be getting good enough reviews, so it might be worth a look now. It all depends on how things look as if they're going to go with Entanet next week.

I changed to o2 this week, was getting 90kb/s to 180kb/s on a good day. Have had a ticket running for month or so. Was told it was my BT line and wasn't ADSL24 fault at all.
Well im getting
http://www.speedtest.net/result/391780138.png (http://www.speedtest.net)
with o2, still same BT line also. Cheaper and faster speeds, o2 first 3 months are free also.
Go for it you won't be sorry.

Yeah while it lasted !! didnt last long so all the ar******licking you did , didnt do you any good did it !!.
MAC requested here too and signed up with O2
I don't need a MAC........
I've got another 'phone line. I can provision a new service on it and make sure it's running well before simply ceasing and walking away from the Entanet based service I'm on now. Next week I'll check to see what that other 'phone line can handle.... last time I looked, it's attenuation figure was a little worse than the line I'm using for the internet right now. (The 2 lines were installed many years apart and I think, with new housing developments in my area, follow different routes to the exchange.)
Yeah while it lasted !! didnt last long so all the ar******licking you did , didnt do you any good did it !!.
What the **** are you on about? :s
it's only £50 to get out of the o2 contract early, not the remainder of the contract...

Sice they changed the packages around recently (november?) there is no early exit option.

I don't see any point in having multiple threads relating to issues due to the switchover to IPSC. Please post about these in http://www.adsl24.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=6256.
