Just a question how do BT decide which node you are on
I am on the Madley Herefordshire exchange which is on the welsh Border ( English Side :D ) However I am on the Manchester Node
How is that correct
Will this effect my speed
Will my exchange stay on the Manchester one or do we get moved around
Must admit have not kept up with all this new stuff so sorry if stupid questions
Thanks for replies in advance

Dartboard ?
It doesn't really matter which node your one, as it's more than likely closer than London.
Kitz made some excellent posts over on TBB on this subject;

The whole thread is a p. good place to start.
So why is everyone in the NW England just about on Edinburgh with the rest of Scotland?!
Theyre not - a lot in on Manchester too. It does not really matter how many exchanges are on what nodes as long as there is enough capacity in place.

which i guess is entas issue at the moment; rebalancing capacity over the nodes rather than the centrals...
