For the first time ever at weekends I am getting poor speeds...for me that is, 1.5Mbs.

I know others who are suffering very poor speeds due to IP connect but I haven't but now the speed is just rubbish, relatively speaking, for even my reduced profile. Not good

I would kill for 2mb
That's on a connection where I usually get 6200kbps but now randomly down to 500kbps

Thats how Peter Sutcliffe started out....probably had Entanet as well.......

My son...Cisco engineer amongst other stuff at Microsoft ...came round last night and we had a play around with my Netgear 834PN...rubbish he declared..MIMO is a con, or words to that effect. So I put my trusty 834GT back but this time plugged it directly into the BT socket and not off a lead. Synch improrved slightly as did SNR but throughput was stubbornly low....at Narnia levels for some I know...but at 1.5mbs its still poor for me.

Seriously? 500kbps? personaly, i'd have to be nuts to stick that out :rolleyes:
