View Full Version : Interleaving Order not Completed

Still waiting for interleaving to be switched off - been ordered since 19th December. Enta have apparently resubmitted the order manually to BTW but nothing has happened. I'm hoping to get my target snr put back down to 6db as well, but if Enta can't sort the interleaving issue out then I can't see much hope of getting the snr sorted!
Brian, can you chase them up on my behalf please? it's going on a bit now.
Thanks.
On my screen it says: Interleaving: No
Which means its turned off but I know Entanet and BT are having a few problems with it but I will chase it up for you.
Regards,
I had similar problems a few weeks back. The initial request showed "order completed" by BT but it took a second request from Enta to actually get the job done.
I was then left with the problem that my profile didn't bounce to 7150, despite synch on every occasion on Fast @ 8128. Profile is still 6500 from the previous interleaved synch of 7616, so I've asked Enta to see if they can get BT to sort it.
Wouldn't it be great if BT's kit actually worked? :D
Ircsum.

Has anyone actually managed to get BT to reduce their target SNR?

Yes I did in fact Tim, last summer to be precise (after bad thunderstorms drove the snr up). Whether or not it will get done again is another matter; I'm considering going back to a fixed rate anyway - the only factor preventing me move at the moment is that I don't want to lose the faster upload speed.
And thanks Brian for your reply & your efforts; I know Enta are showing the job as complete & that the problem is wholly one between Enta & BTW.

Hi Rob,
Was that Entanet who did that for you, or another ISP?

Enta did that for me Tim, I was with Freeola then.

Hi Brian,
I think a target SNR of 6 dB would be too low for me, but hopefully 12 dB would be fine.
More stars on the way ;).
