Have used IE8 in the past but does anything on those Microsoft sites work? Nothing happens when you eventually get on to the download and click.

It did for me, I downloaded it using IE8 RC1, are you trying a different browser by any chance?

Its just this connection and throttling, sorry traffic shaping.
Took over a minute from clicking link to open that page!
BTSpeedtest shows running quick!

It could be the MS server(s) being hammered.

No its Entanet, it applies to all other sites.

Did download earlier today, must admit quite quickly, it works but theres bugs.
