Guys, what can I say! :)

Moved house in October last year and cancelled my contract with PlusNet. New house had a TAG on the line which BT finally removed in Mid November. Placed order with Aquiss before Xmas and kept getting fobbed off/ignored despite repeated requests as to the status of the service.

Finally sent an email on Wednesday afternoon to adsl24 asking if my line presented any problems due to the issues with Aquiss. Reply received within an hour, followed up by a telephone call to reassure me that everything was fine.

Order placed on Thursday morning with adsl24 at 10:17am with activation expected on 18/1.

Just popped out for some lunch today and returned to find my dial up connection to work (0800!) had dropped out. Plugged in the router and low and behold, ADSL enabled! That must be some kinda record!

Now, I have 3 months of dial up to get out of my system. What is my chances of breaching my 30Gb peak limit in 1 day? :D

sorry to hijack this post but your not saying that when you send a email into these guys you get a reply back  and not just a automated message then nothing for days :(

i had to send 2 emails to get my web space/email account set up where i am now and at the time i asked for a block of 8 ip that was back on the 23/11/06 and im still waiting for a email to say if they have set up the ip yet or not but they managed to get the web space/email set up after the second email

this is why i will be leaving them and moving to you guys :D

aquiss

I've come across from them too - they looked good to start with, but you quickly find out what the reality is. Things here are much better.
