As for the SCFC v SUFC match, well I felt sorry for Blades fans because it was dismal performance. I blame Wharnock myself! ;)
Swansea fans were full of praise for the SUFC fans, and even Sheffield police! Nice to see that after all the bad press footy fans normally get.[/QUOTE]
Neil Warnock does drop some clangers but he has got us into the Premeirship on a shoestring budget and I think we have the nucleus of a good side it just wants a few quality additions,
Yes MikeyK you are right it is nice to see Supporters and Police being praised, and I hope Swansea have a good Cup Run, :)
Keith,
I see SUFC have signed someone the other day, so hope this helps. It's going to a tough job to stay in the Premiership, but hope you do.
I think SCFC's cup run may divert us away from promotion if we do well against Chester/Ipswich. But, it would be nice to get through to the next round I guess!
Thanks for the best wishes, looks as though our respective teams have got a tough few months ahead!
Yes they signed forward Jon Stead from Sunderland and he had a good game on Saturday against Portsmouth, and Kilgannon from Leeds but he didn't play injured I think, we need a good experienced quality central defender to play alongside Davis we are leaking too many stupid goals, I think we can stay up nobody in the Premiership have really turned us over,
Let's hope a good Cup Run for your lads give them the extra cash and impetus to push on and get promoted,
Keith.
I'll think I'll start a foozball thread :) LOL
Yes Brian, looks as though at least two of us here are footy fans! Sorry if we're boring everyone, better start a new topic methinks before we get 'moderated'!
:-)
Anyone want to talk football?
:)
I will wait till you get promotedhttp://langkawi.dk/smileys/u239.gif

Maybe this season, but on present form, that could be wishful thinking!
Ah well, one of the joys of football, totally unpredictable, well apart from Chelsea and Man Utd occupying the top two spots for a bit longer!

I see you've gained someone today, and someone has left?
You played well against Arsenal the other week, shows it can be done.
Rumours of Rory Fallon going from SCFC to Plymouth, and as always, John Hartson coming back to his home town club!
I wish Leon Knight had behaved himself off the field because he was a fantastic goalscorer, now he is excluded from the team and the club can't wait to get rid of him. A real talent going to waste
I wish SCFC had had a home game against a big Premiership team in the FA Cup. It might have been an instant exit, but what a way to go. Losing by a goal to someone like Arsenal or Liverpool would have been bearable, but all we have to look forward to is Chester/Ipswich! :(
I'll think I'll start a foozball thread :) LOL
Thanks Brian, nothing worse than us hijacking a topic!
:)
