Payment question...

Just wanted to ask a quick question on the monthly payments, ill shortly be migrated over too adsl24 :D , but was wanting to know when i switch over will Tiscali automatically stop my direct debit payments too them or will i have to do it manually through my bank?

Hi Tibul
In theory, your payments to Tiscali should stop automatically.
In reality, they will bill you for the whole month at the time of changeover, depending on your billing date, i.e. if Tiscali bill you from the 15th each month and you swap over on the 17th say, then you will have to pay for the month April/May up to the 15th of next month.
Keep a check on them, do not cancel your DD until you are sure you owe them nothing. Otherwise you could be in trouble.

Yeah, dont cancel the DD as they may charge you. Once you are live with us, give them a call and make sure they know you have left them and to stop charging you...

When I left my last ISP Plusnet I got my MAC and they then counted 30 days and refunded me from that date up to the next payment date. I cancelled my DD with them so they couldn't take any more money.
Some companies keep taking after you cancel, I had that problem with Zazizam.
