Sync speed has shot up???

Im not complaining but why has my router sync speed shot up to 5,984 My profile used to be 3500 or 4000 but if it stays like this it will be 5500:D. My line is due to go onto the 21cn tomorrow or wednesday(then i need to press the button on account) could this be something to do with it:s. Earlier to night it was on about 6500 but my snr dropped to 4db which made the internet stop working so i rebooted router and got this sync. Normaly i can only get these sort of sync rates in the day and it drops to 3500/4000 when it gets dark. I must still be on the 20cn as my upload is still 448kbps. This is out of the blue but GREAT!!!!:D

I know, i dont want too rub it in. But its just weired how it has just happened:rolleyes: I, sure i will be back on here in a week or so complaining about the 21cn service;)

yeah, i've seen a lot of them. I suppose theres only one advantage at getting 21cn in 2010, at least there won't be loads of problems!

Strangely mine did the same a few days ago. I'm now synced at 8128 and my IP profile is 7150. I've never seen speeds this fast before (usually 4 - 6 Mb) and wouldn't expect them as I'm in the country and 3 km from the exchange.

I found out i had a email this morning from adsl24 that my line had been moved to the new 21cn network and if i wanted to upgrade i could which i did:D <Maybe the BT engineer gave my line wires a wire brush and a dam good clean when he moved them over;)

People do get varying results with the move to 21cn. You might have had a bad joint which he picked up on and fixed at the same time. Congratulations!
