View Full Version : Appalling speeds to Ebay and a few others

The day BT sent me a mail saying my exchange had been upgraded to 21cn, I've had really bad probs with ebay in particular, upgrade pob nothing to do with it, just a coincidence...maybe. Tried another modem, 2 different pc's and a mates laptop. No weird firewalls or anything running, no spyware or anything like that. Done all the MTU things you can think of. I know ebay is alot slower these days and more at certain times but this is ridiculous, snipe bidding? I'd need to click the auction link 5 mins b4 the auction ends to load the page! Could I have an IP address on a blacklist or something? Totally out of ideas now. Here's a couple ping results:

Synched at 12400, great speeds everywhere else, Google is fine as shown.

I use ebay alot and this is driving me mad! :s
