It says you are provided with 1 static IP as standard. A block of 8 is free.
How do you get and use the free 8 IP's?

When you signup just choose the 1 or 8 IP's - this way your acount will be created with 1 or 8 from the start.

You would use a block of 8 if you have several PC's that you run as servers and need their own external IP. If you are in doubt, you probably don't need a block of 8!

A single static IP can be used and your router will share this to all devices connected.
