Could someone just check my stats please, something doesnt seem right. I thought the lower my attenuation was the closer to 24mbps I should get? All of the calculators seem to indicate I should be getting 16-24mbps but I think my stats are showing this isnt the case.

I'm slightly confused by all of the figures so if anyone could help me out...

Router stats:

DSL Status: Connected
DSL Modulation Mode: MultiMode
DSL Path Mode: Interleaved
Downstream Rate: 15226 kbps
Upstream Rate: 883 kbps
Downstream Margin: 18 db
Upstream Margin: 12 db
Downstream Line Attenuation: 13 db
Upstream Line Attenuation: 3 db
Downstream Transmit Power: 9 db
Upstream Transmit Power: 17 db

BT Speedtester...

With that short line you should be getting a lot more than that ,
your line can support around 16 - 22 Mbps on ADSL2

Have a look at http://www.kitz.co.uk/adsl/max_speed_calc.php it's only an estimate but gives you a good idea

I'm having the same problems as I mentioned here (http://adsl24.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=7170), 22dB attn. which everywhere says should give 18-20mbit sync, and I can't get above 12.

Thanks guys and gals, I thought I should be getting a lot higher than that. I live in a new property a stones throw (literally) from the exchange. I think I will raise a ticket and see what can be done.

Sorry Reines, missed your post from yesterday!
