BT Speed Test Rubbish

What is it with this B.T speed test site.

Tried about 20 times and still the speed test freezes. Tried Windows explorer, Opera, Firefox, reinstalled Java, rebooted several times and still the test won't complete. I know from reading other posts that i'm not the only person with this problem.:mad:

Not sure - but as it's not run by us there isn't much we can do!

Tried a different PC at all? When you say it freezes - in what way?

Moved this to chat as it's not a direct problem with ADSL24.

It is pretty pants and regularly times out/is too busy/takes forever but eventually works.

Methinks the ZX81 at the other end could do with a 16KB rampack upgrade

Will try my other comp. Maybe that's how i managed it before when it worked.
