just migrated today, speed is excellent, however dns lookup seems very slow, once a websites address has been looked up the page flies and loads nearly instantly, just sometimes/most of the time the lookup can take quite a few seconds before the page loads.
in my router settings the auto dns are:
195.74.113.58
195.74.113.62
apart from this issue at the moment, seems very good.
Odd, there are no known issues on the DNS platform at the moment. What settings have you got in the DNS config for your network card? (TCP/IP settings etc). If its set to the router IP, try putting the DNS directly into those settings.
Thanks
James

right, you pointed me in the right direction, its fixed now (i think ;)). Basically im a linux user (ubuntu feisty), network manager hadn't refreshed/reconnected to my router since i changed the router settings so when i looked in its info it still said the old dns servers from my old isp, disabled then re-enabled to get a new lease from the router, works like a charm now.
thanks very much for your time :)
