I'm on the Birmingham node and I just lost all connectivity for about 15 or 20 minutes (synched fine, just no 'net access). Called Enta tech support to be greeted by a queue of 20, so I assume it's not isolated!

Well since around 1510 my connection has been up and down like a yoyo :/

Currently got this going on with BT Speedtester:

Test1 comprises of Best Effort Test: -provides background information.
Your DSL connection rate: 7643 kbps(DOWN-STREAM), 1092 kbps(UP-STREAM)
IP profile for your line is - 750 kbps
Actual IP throughput achieved during the test was - 579 kbps

Has to be the worst I have ever experienced!

On saying that the area I stay has had some thunder storms but its not as if my connection has ever been this poor when theres been a wee bit rain.

The bit in bold is the most important bit. This means that your line has synced low enough to go to a 750 kbps profile. Thunderstorms are very bad for ADSL.

Give it up to 5 days and your profile should go back up to your normal levels...
