How can I tell which central I am on from a tracert?

I could tell when with my previous ISP, but not with Enta.

Entachoice is down ATM.

Cheers

The first hop after your router is the gateway, then the Central itself. With the 2 Telehouse Centrals it's easy enough:

Telehouse 1 (C1) gateways are ironwood, jujuba, katsura.
Telehouse 2 (C3) gateways are elm, fir, larch.

With the 2 GlobalSwitch Centrals (C2 & C4) you can't tell which one you're on right now as they both share the same gateways - birch, chestnut, dogwood. This is because of teething problems with new equipment but it should soon be sorted. Until then you can only tell the difference between C2 & C4 by the speed you get compared with what the Enta NOC (http://noc.enta.net/) site reports, if there is an appreciable difference.

Bear in mind also that, while all 4 segments of C2 are lit, I believe only a single segment of C4 is lit at present, so the chances of landing on C4 are not great - it gives the best speeds, generally.
