There are 3 faceplate splitters available:

Pressac NTE2000, used by BT, sold by ADSL24 Store. The NTE2005 version is also available.

Austin Taylor NTE2000 Equivalent. BT Equipment Supplier, but faceplate is not used by BT AFAIK.

ADSL Nation XTE2005. Austin Taylor enclosure, but differing internals. Claims excellent performance.

I bought the Pressac device. Line noise down by 3dB - 3 orders of magnitude.

This is impressive. The device is well built.

The XTE2005 is supposed to be better. There are no pictures of its internals, and no graphs of its supposed good performance.

In fact, there is no real published data for any of them, only anecdotal statements: 'I dropped an XTE2005, and bits fell out'.

Does anyone have any data?

I don't think there is any real-world data available. As they are so cheap, and they are built to do the same job, my advice is to try all 3, or if you don't have problems, just stick with your existing one :)

ADSL Nation faceplate is a cheaper version of the Austin Taylor design.

I have the ADSL Nation XTE2005, it works a treat. My sync speed rose from under 5000 to 7400.
