Recommended MTU and RWIN setting

Hi all

My connection has been up and running well for 4 days now. However I was wondering what the recommended setting for MTU and RWIN, as mine MTU is currently set at 1450. I use a Speedtouch 546 v6

Is it best to leave tweaking till after the training period.

well to answer your question is quite difficult as the MTU can vary from connection to connection dependent on routers and switches that you actually connect through and go through to.

I would say run this http://www.dslreports.com/tweaks it should help you determine what your mtu and rwin should be.

I'm not sure if the training period would actually change anything with the MTU but if you think it does run the test again after the training period has finished and see what your mtu should be.
