Hi all. Well I have just sent a request for my MAC to Pipex (like everyone else it would seem :p) and will be signing up for Home 30 as soon as I get it. I live 350 meters away from the exchange, so I cant wait to see what speed I will sync at - Should be a tad faster than Poopex :D.

My service was activated today. A big thumbs up so far, much, much better than my previous Pipex connection.

My connection stats are:

Upstream Rate (Kbps) 448
Downstream Rate (Kbps) 8128
US Margin 21
DS Margin 15
Modulation MMODE
LOS Errors 0
DS Line Attenuation 11
US Line Attenuation 9
Path Mode Interleaved

Also, would changing the path mode give any performance benefits?

With a Downstream rate of 8128, looks like you are on FAST already regardless of what the router is saying!
