I'm currently with virgin broadband non cable. I'm thinking about migrating to adsl 24 but moving house soon. Can details be transfered to another phone line or is there a charge for this?

glad you are considering moving over to ADSL24!

Migrating to us now is free providing you have an ADSL connection and NOT LLU with Virgin. To check this, use http://www.dslzoneuk.net/checker.php

If you are on LLU, then you can migrate and we accept LLU MAC codes but you will have to pay a £45+vat connection fee which is what BT charge us.

If you move house after signing up with us, then the connection fee of £45+vat will apply again because it will be a new connection at a new premesis. You will need to give us at least a week's notice so we can order the cease on your old line. We can retain all of your username / password / email / webspace details.

So to sum up, if you are on ADSL currently, then you could migrate now but you would have the connection fee to pay when you move. If you are on LLU with virgin, then you might want to wait til you move otherwise you will have to pay the connection fee twice.
