TBH ADSL24 gave me much better pings than O2 ect. So I was able to frag in realtime and not when the match was over lol. But to do anything else. stream youtube/ iplayer/ Skyplayer. Just forget it, it's trash. :(
With the changes coming in to effect on the 4th Nov 2009... this should all be much better.

Quite the opposite for me. I have had no issues with gaming whatsoever, since the 4th November I have had terrible lag spikes whilst playing COD4 and COD:WAW. Every few minutes my ping jumps to between 200-600ms.
Any comments James? This is definitely since 4th November as I had ZERO issues before.
Yeah, sent a big list of issues over to Enta this evening, so will let you know. I know they are still trying to get the balance correct on the new system.
I am here for one reason. I have been signed out of playstation network? WTF?? My speed don't go over 0.5mbps...

I am gutted. I've had an extremely stressful week at work, got some beers in tonight to enjoy some COD online and relax, but I can't play as my pings are all over the place :(

Yup, it's unplayable. My plans for a relaxed night are completely ruined. Thanks!
I was gaming all night last night and everything was good :s
Maybe you had some bad hosts on CoD?

It was working fine last night. It just seems that when the node is busy I get lag spikes. At least I know what it is, but not good because they get busy like that every weekend :(

It's been ok now since Sunday evening. I guess it must be a Friday/Saturday night thing, I'll see how it goes this weekend.

James can you give any indication what these changes will be? Is it new packages from someone other than enta?
It's just that I'm on O-bit surfwise at the moment and really need to get away ASAP, I've got my MAC and I'm ready if come crawling back if things are certain to pick up!

Same for me. Ping is up and down.
What nodes are you guys on? I'm on Edinburgh (20CN) and rarely have lag problems on Xbox Live (unless I get connected to a bad host which isn't too often).
With CoD etc being P2P it all depends on the hosts connection, the best connection in the world won't save you if you have a bad host. I've seen a lot of talk around the net about people getting lag with MW2, it's just the nature of the beast unfortunately :(
