Just a quick question
all over the weekend ive been only able to get a speed of 230 Kb/s tops but my test results are
Test1 comprises of Best Effort Test: -provides background information.
IP profile for your line is - 4000 kbps
DSL connection rate: 832 kbps(UP-STREAM) 4832 kbps(DOWN-STREAM)
Actual IP throughput achieved during the test was - 1746 kbps
and Ive deffo had a little faster speed
I assume this is probably a stuck profile and I know I will need to raise a ticket with adsl24
what I would like to know is what BT actually do when its a stuck profile
Do they have to visit your premises/exchange or is it done remotely by some computer somewhere ?
would be interested to find out
