I am unable to access http://www.morethan.com/ using my MurphX connection. I know that the website is not down, as I can access it using a Terminal Server at work.
Not loading for me either, connection timed out.

I use http://downforeveryoneorjustme.com/ to check this sort of thing, its down for me too.
It's to do with them blocking our IP range. I've already sent an email so hopefully they are proactive and update their filters.
I have a pet hate with server administrators who fail to update their firewall rules/filters for new IP ranges - there is no excuse really for it, as they are not only frustrating the ISP and their customers who have just been assigned the new range but also losing potential customers! It just doesn't make any sense...

Why would they block it anyway? Fraud reasons?
No. Basically, there are a number of IP ranges that have never been assigned by the governing body for IP addresses (RIPE in our case). Server administrations block these IP ranges as they are not in use, and thus simply not required.
When RIPE allocate a new IP range to an ISP, these companies take time to update their firewall rules and thus until they do, we can't access their site etc.
It's a real pain!

What's the point of blocking these IP ranges though?
There isn't any reason, we don't do anything like that, but some server administrators are very strict and lock down everything.

Because they can be used by hackers for dDOS, etc.. attacks. I guess it's harder now the way the internet is setup.

It's still inaccessible :(. I sent them an email as well, but they haven't bothered replying to it.
I had a similar issue accessing the Samsung download center. In the end I just used an online proxy as a temporary solution.
