Been playing with some new skins, added this computer, server style what do you think.

It needs the header changing name wise and a few things removing?

Its temporary until ours is finished, but I must say I like the design and the header.

Might get them to use this as a template.

It certainly gave me quite a shock! I actually preferred the original skin you had, but I suppose you can't please everyone!

I personally don't like the 'barby' colour scheme (got enough of that at home with two young daughters!), and I think the QUOTE etc buttons are a bit big and blocky. The header graphic is way too big.

The rest is okay! ;)

Sorry Brian, but it's all down to personal tastes and you'd probably cringe at some of my stuff!

On balance the previous scheme was far nicer for me.

There was one web forum site I visited which allowed users to choose from a few different schemes which I thought was a good idea.

At the end of the day, the important thing is to make sure that people can clearly see what buttons to press etc. I prefer quick loading simple websites for things such as help forums. Mega graphic stuff is great for showing off products and selling expensive services, but not so clever for imparting info quickly and clearly.

Your main website front page is pretty good for getting to info that people need quickly BTW!

A thought occurs (sometimes happens, honestly) - does this Board support user customisation? As in, if there are a few different skins to choose from, the user can select his preferred one.

I like this one better Brian, I havn't looked in great detail but from what I have seen I have found it easier to navigate, I found the other one wishy washy too pale this one for me is far easier on the eyes, but like somebody else said you can't please everybody,

I have so far made the company whom designed this template do our design 3 times, now after finding this template Im tempted to design ours around this one.

But not have the header so big.
