View Full Version : Leaving Eclipse
Must admit I was quite sad to leave eclipse internet today. I rang up and requested my MAC code so I can jump onto adsl24 after reading rave reviews. They were a great ISP up until about three months ago when Kingston took over and I felt a bit of loyalty towards them, their tech support were always friendly and helpful too - I got the MAC code in about two hours, plain sailing as well, so it is sad that they have gone to pot. Put up with it for so long but 15kbs on an 8MB connection is just taking the piss.
Hope adsl24 is better :)

Like you I felt a little sad to leave Eclipse. I had been with then for years I knew Mark Lang the founder of Eclipse when he was a student at East Devon College where I worked.
When Eclipse got tied up with Kingston I had the same problems as you. Unlike you I found Eclipse help in the end very poor until I asked for my MAC code ( I think they have had a lot of practise with these lately).
With ADSL24 you will find the service excellent and their support absolutely brilliant, you will not be sorry for joining.
Dale welcome to the Gang here.
Good move & welcome to ADSL24. I was with Eclipse for years but glad to escape in the end.
Ircsum.
Thankyou :)
I was quite surprised to see a forum - many an ISP wouldn't dare have an open discussion forum revolved around their services :D
Should be on ADSL24 within a few weeks - have to wait for a confirmation email for some goods we ordered first of all. Wish I knew where I bought the stuff from now so I could just get in contact with them. I may do that tomorrow :)
Welcome to ADSL24 Dale,
yorkie.
