Last night i got switched over to the murphx platform and after a bit of mucking around with DNS settings got up and running this am.
Im pleasantly surprised with the change to my line stats - for years on entanet my ping was 59 (it never changed), its now clocking 36/37. Also i recently got switched from ADSL to ADSL2+ (on Enta) , I was syncing at 4-5 mb for a time then it mysteriously dropped to 3mb and never changed no matter how often i resynced. Im glad to say im back upto 5mb territory again.
Id actually assumed this would be a BT exchange level issue at the time and didnt fancy my chances of getting it fixed so never followed it up.
Initially this is quite encouraging - hopefully the service will continue to stay at this standard and not nosedive like we saw before.
