Super slow

Anyone else having ultra slow connections yesterday and today? Went on a go slow about 4 days ago as well.
Ie ADSL24 home page to this forums home page taking in excess of 1 min 20sec to open, very much the same on just about everything.
Dial up was never this slow at its worst.
Too slow to run the BT test, in fact waste of time trying anything.

Did notice power surges and relays tripping out last night in the workshop.

Hi Jon,

What might have happened is your router has lost SYNC and if it had a whoosh of noise, could have killed the SYNC rate causing your BT profile to be set at something like 135k (the lowest). This will rise back up within 72hrs - thats how the BT system works. Can you post your router stats for us?

Also, looking at your line, it has been synching quite low. This could be down to your line length, but it is definately worth looking at your wiring / extention setup etc. Please look at the FAQ: Improve Your connection (http://adsl24.co.uk/faq/index.php?action=artikel&cat=8&id=48&artlang=en)

Finally, if you can get a result from BT Speed tester (http://speedtester.bt.com/) that would be great.:)
