This will either work of it won't...but if you are getting lots of disconnects then tell us what router you have...have you tried another and what make...

..and quite rightly are you 21CN & ADSL2+

Be interesting to see if there is some "connection" (pun intended)

Im using the same router that I had while on ADSL24 Enta where I had a very good service. Since I migrated to ADSL24 Murphx in the first batch, things immediately went tits up.

My router is a NetGear DG834N running the latest NG firmware (v15). The service is 21CN ADSL2+

same as above interms of quality.

was using Netgear DG834G V3 with latest fw up until May then went really bad, had ticket open for month and in end changed to new router and cables. now using Netgear DGN1000 with stock out of box fw, still getting drops and cant sync to what the 834 could at, so im down to 6mb from 7.3.

no 21cn adsl+ in my area.

tried 2 speedtouch 585v6's one with latest firmware available and one with the 'tweakable' firmware. one of which i had been using for over 2 years.

borrowed a netgear dg834 v3 and tried that

currently using a 2wire HGV2700 with Singtel firmware.

None of which changed anything - except the 2wire seemed to sync slightly higher than the rest.

pretty sure my problems are between me and the exchange though.

no ADSL2+ or LLU available here.

Hello, I'm using a TP-Link TD-W8901G, and my disconnects start after 20:00 every night, and happen around abouts every hour after that until about 01:00 in the morning, by which time it seems stable. I have changed cables and this is a new router. And my disconnects started in May. Not sure whats changed, but as an Online Gamer, well lets just say patience is running a bit thin... :)

And I think I'm ADSL+2 here... (Sorry not a techie) :)

Speedtouch 585v6 with (locked!) AOL firmware. It worked well with AOL and ADSL24/Enta, and was ok with MurphX at first.
