Moderators don't work for ADSL24 so there isn't much we can do :$ how is your speed now? Everything seems fine here but I wasn't online earlier to compare.

My speed seems to have come back

But this is happening more and more often now with Murphx. I have been with adsl24 for over 3 years, never had this fluctuation in speed. So why now please?
I checked my exchange, all was ok there, everything seemed to be ok here. We used to be able to check (Pipe, or Node or whatever it is called now). Where can we check with Murphx what we are connected on.
There used to be links to the old sites, but that information has gone, and it was a useful link.
Can we have the links back please.:(

Same thing has been happening to me but I've only just noticed in the last month or so. I used to get consistent speeds over 6 Mb/s, now it barely gets above 2. Nearly 3 years with ADSL24 and now I am going to have to consider leaving as these speeds aren't acceptable for what I pay. Problem is what other ISP is there who will give me the same deal as the Home30 one I am on now, and with only a one month contract?
Anyway I have raised a ticket but after reading a lot of posts lately, it seems that noone at ADSL24 is listening anymore so I don't hold out much hope of it getting resolved. What has happened to this ISP???

I just had a really bad slow down too, literally did a speed test got 6.9mb, went slow, speed test went down to 0.2mb. Then 1 minute later back up to 6.8mb!

Well it seems an apology to ADSL24 is in order. I have recently purchased a new modem so I tried the old one and found the speeds were fine so that narrowed the problem down. Anyway I'm not sure if it makes any difference but the new modem was connecting via PPPoE rather than PPPoA and there was some QOS function running that I have now turned off. The upshot of all this is that my speeds are back to normal so I'm happy to stay.
Oh and the support people responded to my ticket in less than a day so that was very good service.
