ADSL MAX Broadband Home PAYG seems to have an allowance of 1G and £1 per each extra 1G.
Is there an off-peak allowance as with the "Allowance" accounts or is there a different rate of charging for each off-peak extra 1G?

From what I can see Pat I don't think there is any PAYG "off peak" then again Brian may know different

That's a shame as it makes ADSL24's PAYG about £5.50 p.m. more than my Plusnet PAYG or £3.50 more if I take the "Allowance" route. I wonder why the We recognise that it's not reasonable to impose caps that apply the same limit to peak usage as off-peak usage so we have two separate caps. sort of differential does not apply to PAYG?
(I tend to average 4G peak and 4G off-peak p.m.)

well to be honest Pat the PAYG is 14.98pm anyway, so even if it was 3.50 you would be paying 18.48 per month so for an extra 1.51 you get 30GB peak and 300GB off peak. Not bad that really. This is my usage since 11th Jan
Total Usage: 2.37 GB
Peak Usage: 0.44 GB
Off Peak Usage: 1.93 GB
I personally prefer to pay that extra 1.51 and have loads left if I need it.

Yes, I agree with you, Bob. I think that the lack of the free PAYG off-peak that I get at Plusnet made it difficult for me to get my head around it.

Are the any other differences between ADSL24 Home Allowance-Max and PAYG-Max (besides price and caps and off-peak)?
